GenCED expresses deep concern over the rising cases of femicides in Ghana and across the West African region. We call on government, civil society, and all stakeholders to take urgent and decisive action to protect women and girls from gender-based violence.
We demand stronger legal frameworks, improved access to justice for survivors, and comprehensive prevention strategies that address the root causes of violence against women. Every woman and girl deserves to live free from fear and violence.
