ASSESSMENT OF YOUNG WOMEN’S PARTICIPATION WITHIN POLITICAL PARTIES IN GHANA

Young people’s participation has been at the center stage of discussion for a while now. This is because young people on the continent are seen as dynamic, very active and their involvement play a critical role in its development. Africa is noted for a large youth population, and young women aged between 18-35 constitute more than 50% of this population. Young women constitute one of the most valuable and available resources to be used to advance the continent’s political and governance process. Their participation and contribution help in consolidating democracy on the continent.
